Formazione Post-Laurea

The PhD program in ICT operates within the Department of Computer Science, Modeling, Electronics and Systems Engineering (DIMES) of the University of Calabria, awarded as “Department of Excellence” by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) over 2018-2022. The PhD program is multidisciplinary and strongly oriented to the integration and development of new systems of ICT. It is organized in 3 Curricula: Computer Engineering and Science Electronics, Telecommunications and Control Systems Internet of Things.

Mission: forming top-level professionals able to perform and coordinate research activities oriented to the development and the integration of innovative ICT systems.

The subject area are: Automatic Control, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Measurements, Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetic Fields, Electronics, Numerical Analysis, Operations Research, Telecommunications, Principles of Chemical Engineering, Sciences of the Book and Document.

Educational activities are planned throughout the 3-year PhD program, aiming at providing basic and advanced knowledge in the various research topics and at fostering the acquisition of a methodology to carry out research activities.
